The value story
It has been discounted 115 times in the 11 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 60 percent, about 5 weeks apart. Today's $6.79 at 66 percent off still sits 36 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 41 percent on value. It is pricier than 88 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Legend of Grimrock 2 ($4.79, scores 82) beats it on value, while it beats Age of Reforging: The Freelands ($29.99, scores 23).

PLOT: The plot (which is never a strong point of dungeon crawlers) is exactly as you would expect it to find it, i.e. pretty weak. Its certainly not the worst offender in this area but its not the best either...
I have no idea how this has an average of very positive in the reviews. I'm kind of mad at the YouTube streamer who somehow tipped me toward buying this. Enemy variety and combat are very boring, items/gear are uninspiring, the UI is very janky from the moment the tutorial starts and conversational choices start popping up in the bottom left every few seconds, the enemy animations and attack/spell effects are bad...
