I want to start off by saying that I had a quick peek though some negative reviews and I totally agree with them. When I bought this game I tried it solo and I just couldn't make any progress. However when I tried it with my wife in co-op it became an instant favorite. It's one of those "simple to learn, difficult to master" games that is fun to play together. Well I bought this game mainly to play with a friend as a duo but finished the game + completed all the steam achievements solo. Game is incredibly fun altho it's super hard in the beginning. Some characters are incredibly busted with certain combos and the game gets way harder to play when you play in a party. The last "hidden" boss is extremely hard and almost feel impossible to go through unless you have some...
Lost Castle has some rough traits, but a lot of potential. Its rough traits hold it way back, though - the utter dearth and scarcity of healing combined with it being basically mandatory, enemies having a long time-to-kill combined with players not , the lack of character customization or retention... The core gameplay idea is sound, but, do not buy Lost Castle, not even if it's on sale for practically nil. Buy Lost...
