Half a year after Trails in the Sky SC, Father Kevin Graham takes on a routine mission on behalf of the Septian Church. He and his partner are then plunged into a realm that follows an unnaturally strict set of rules and is as intent to open old wounds as it is to keep them behind closed doors.

The value story
It has never been cheaper than $22.49. That was November 2017. Its cuts run 25 percent off as a rule. There have been 56 in the 9 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 1 percent on value. It is pricier than 95 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Grimm's Hollow (free, scores 93) beats it on value, while it beats Ikenfell ($19.99, scores 74).
$38.87 is where it would stop being a BANGER. It is priced at $29.99.
Critics scored it 83. Players sit 12 points higher at 95 percent, which usually means a game that plays better than it reviews.
Steam's global achievement data puts 62 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. This site sampled 387 of its Steam-purchase reviews; none were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written May 2020 to August 2026.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating, which is the one that means it just works.

Having all the companions from the previous two games, along...
Not even close to finishing this game. So far, the most different-feeling entry of the trilogy. Initially, I did not like the changes made from FC and SC. Later down the line, I got used to it, and started to appreciate what they were going for with the memory doors. The best part of this game, for me so far, is that some party members that were barely playable in SC are now more readily available early on the game...
The 3rd is very different from the previous two chapters, and you'll notice that right from the start. But stick with it to the end, and be sure to do most of the doors (that last Star Door was rough!) The story/writing/dialogue is very well done. It's harder than the previous games... Due to the difficulty of a few bosses, I'm glad I stuck to Normal, but there's no shame in going Easy. As a whole, it felt like a...
