What players say
This game is quite interesting for the first little bit and the gameplay is fun, but I am already noticing things that are slightly annoying. Now if the game was a reasonable length this wouldn't be an issue, but as I kept playing it became clear that it will legitimately last 180 in game days and that is way too long. Especially since you can just lose. Now the story is fun, but with the sheer timesink that playing...

I give up. At the beginning of the game the story says something along the lines of "Jack doesn't deal with the mafia". And i though: "OK, thats cool. Lets go for a good-guy playthrough". I don't do deals with the mafia and i don't follow through on City Halls racist and sexist requests. Day 11 starts with a gunshot and then the text "Jack is dead". That was it for my playthrough, starting over is my only option...
A fun, noir-style adventure. It's not the best management game, but it's good for a bit of fun.

This Is the Police is a strategy/adventure game set in a city spiraling the drain. Taking the role of gritty Police Chief Jack Boyd, you'll dive into a deep story of crime and intrigue. Will Jack reach his retirement with a nice stack of bills, or will he end up broken ... or worse?
