It is a time of great rejoicing in the galaxy. Luke Skywalker, with the help of Wedge Antilles, has blown up the Death Star. But there is little time to celebrate. The mighty Empire is gathering strength for a determined, all-out assault on the Rebel forces.

The value story
It has never been cheaper than $2.49. That was May 2024. Its cuts run 65 percent off as a rule. There have been 50 in the 11 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 41 percent on value. It is pricier than 73 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, X3: Terran Conflict ($15.99, scores 72) beats it on value, while it beats Starpoint Gemini 2 ($34.99, scores 27).
Of the 448 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 8 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 687 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 53 percent of the 560 reviews written there were positive, against 73 percent overall, and those are 45 percent of everything written about it.

this version just... sucks, I tried my best to map controls for pc, and turn left and right, and it only rotates the ship instead of turning. then I just decided to use my generic controller, which worked but... the game just doesn't feel right and it's still very hard to even aim
