What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
Neon Space is a fun and simple but at the same time highly addictive game.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 256 MB of memory, 256 MB or higher, 205 MB of storage. Runs on Windows, macOS, Linux.
The value story
79 discounts in the 10 years on record, a median of 90 percent off across all of them, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $1.49 at 95 percent off still sits 204 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
On value it sits in the top 50 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 68 percent. On the same math Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine ($14.99, scores 83) and Overture ($4.99, scores 40) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
More about Neon Space
Steam's global achievement data puts about 3 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 1.5-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 176 reviews written there were positive, against 71 percent overall, and those are 52 percent of everything written about it.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 1.5 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

What players say
Had no issues with the game itself but they are really charging 44 AUD dollars for this!?!?!?!? Nah that gets a negative for that.
1 more review, not recommended
Cheap crap with generic visuals and electronic music from a shovelware publisher. They jacked the price up to $29.99 so they can make constantly putting it on sale for -95% look better. It claims to have controller support but it definitely does not work. The UI is also broken at 4k. It's not even worth the -95% sale price.
