About the game
Phantaruk combines survival horror with adventure and stealth mechanics. Expect true shivers down your spine as you fight for your life not only facing the dangers of the Purity-02 spaceship, but most of all - when you try to get rid of toxins continually destroying you from the inside.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 2 GB of memory, Graphics card with DX9 (shader model 3.0) capabilities, 6 GB of storage. Windows only.
The value story
Across all 111 discounts in the 10 years tracked, the median cut is 86 percent, about 4 weeks apart. Today's $0.79 at 84 percent off still sits 61 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is less well reviewed than 92 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Don't Be Afraid ($9.99, scores 54) beats it on value, while it beats Gravewood High (free, scores 1).

What players say
Phantaruk is a sci-fi horror game that tries to capture that "trapped on a spaceship with something hunting you" feeling, and for a while it actually does a decent job of building tension. You wake up alone on a deteriorating research vessel, dealing with limited resources, locked doors, and something hostile roaming the corridors. The atmosphere is the main highlight here - dark, claustrophobic environments...

Bro… I really wanted to like this. It started off with cool Dead Space vibes - dark corridors, creepy sounds, a monster lurking somewhere… but that energy dies real quick. The scares? Repetitive. The gameplay? Walk, hide, grab keycard, repeat. The monster? Shows up once in a while like it's clocking in for a part-time job. By the time I was halfway through, I wasn't scared - I was just tired. Same hallways, same...
