The value story
It has never been cheaper than $6.24. That was February 2026. 99 discounts in the 9 years on record. They run about 40 percent off, roughly 5 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 1 percent on value. It is pricier than 93 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 97 percent. Among the games closest to it, Those Who Rule ($17.99, scores 68) and Low Magic Age ($14.99, scores 66) both come in lower.
Steam's global achievement data puts about 12 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On an 84.5-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 13 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written May 2020 to August 2026. That is fewer refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 3,162 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 2,324 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 71 percent of the 553 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 6 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
It's literally so peak, but I will say that you'll need to invest some serious playtime before it starts to get there. Autism required beyond this point!!
Only downside of this game is the ending is unresolved and leaving too many loose ends if you care about story. But this game's awesome companion chemistry, satisfying leveling, building system and captivating ensemble narrative easily overshadow its drawbacks. Overall, highly recommended.
this game is really good, my 1st time do the review in steam. it feels success to replicate the enjoyment of reading zero-hero manhwa inside the game. excited for the sequel!
