How to read this

Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work

The value story

June 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $2.99. It has been discounted 74 times in the 9 years tracked here, typically at 75 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.

It is pricier than 93 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 92 percent. I Expect You To Die ($24.99, scores 56) outscores it, and so does A Fisherman's Tale ($9.99, scores 66). Both sit among its closest neighbours.

This site sampled 719 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 32 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,656 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 26 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 32 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 52 percent of the 1,056 reviews written there were positive, against 64 percent overall, and those are 61 percent of everything written about it.

1.3 hours to finish it, 5 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 3.5 times the campaign.

What players say

Works great with steam link on Quest 3. I could not get it to work with virtual desktop. It is a short game but it looks fantastic.

This is by far one of the best VR experiences I have ever played and its an older game. Wow. I played this on a QUEST 2 via steam link and though it had some lag at times, and a little trouble getting the controllers working. Once the bugs were out of the way this thing was gorgeous. When Robin was right in front of me I had to do a double take. It just felt real. Anyways, top tier entry to the Arkham universe. Just...

This game feels like a VR tech demo more than a chapter in the Arkham series. Hearing Kevin Conroy is a joy but this game feels... kinda lazy. You solve a murder and that is it. The whole game can be 100% completed in less than 2 hours with a guide. Also there is 0 combat. Part of what made the Arkham series so memorable is the combat. I'd only pick up this game on sale. Its good, just... not worth 20 dollars.
