About the game
A turn-based JRPG series with a modern presentation and classic heart. Episode 1 is the start of the adventure. Play as Haru and his childhood friend Kuroko as they defy an evil empire in the underground 'Lower City'.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 2 GB of memory, NVidia GeForce GTX 650, 2 GB of storage. Runs on Windows, macOS, Linux.
The value story
It has never been cheaper than $1.99. That was September 2026. Across all 70 discounts in the 8 years tracked, the median cut is 50 percent, about 5 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 11 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 60 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 76 percent. Grimm's Hollow (free, scores 93) outscores it, and so does Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling ($19.99, scores 96). Both sit among its closest neighbours.

It's pretty neat that they came up with this little bite sized JRPG, but even on sale for a couple of dollars, I can't actually recommend it. There might be hints of an interesting story, but the dialogue is rough, there's a lot of walking around and talking to people with confusing room transitions, and the combat doesn't bring anything unique to the table.
