The value story

The lowest price on record is $4.99, set in March 2026. It has been discounted 78 times in the 9 years tracked here, typically at 60 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.

It is pricier than 95 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 76 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Windward ($9.99, scores 58) beats it on value, while it beats Pixel Piracy ($14.99, scores 15).

This site sampled 486 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 1 was written by a buyer who refunded it, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 47 percent of the 164 reviews written there were positive, against 73 percent overall, and those are 14 percent of everything written about it.

What players say

Great game! Good story and the game play is simple but effective, I think my only floor would be that when you capture ships you don't get to keep/swap or sell them bit thats just a small nit pick

I absolutely adore this game. One you will come back to time and time again starting new playthroughs. Well designed and ultimately customizable. Highly recommend

This game has its quirks, but it has a lot of effort put into it. My biggest gripe is probably the music. I think the sound effects used are pretty tasteful but the music doesn't do the rest of the game justice. The bounty system can be very punishing if you get to the two skull level and you don't have enough cash on hand to pay your fine. You get caught in an endless loop of hoping to find an encounter that will...
