About the game

Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 1 GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384 MB of RAM, 748 MB of storage. Runs on Windows, macOS.
The value story
100 discounts in the 10 years on record, a median of 70 percent off across all of them, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today's $2.23 at 68 percent off still sits 89 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 42 percent on value. It is less well reviewed than 61 percent of its genre. On the same math Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan ($14.99, scores 70) and Landlord of the Woods ($0.99, scores 95) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
The drop-off
49% start to 15% rarestNo achievement in this game marks the ending, so there is no finish rate. The curve runs from the most-unlocked achievement to the rarest, and its shape is where players stop. Steam global achievements

This game started out decently, and the protagonist acts more like an actual human than most HOG protags. The 2D comic-style cutscenes were nice. Story is pretty normal for a HOG, and there are tons of hidden object scenes. The game offers an "eye" button to identify all clickable hotspots, which is helpful. But this game is extremely buggy. It constantly fails to register mouse clicks, both in hidden object scenes...
I really enjoyed this one. Even with the lack of collectibles to search for, and the fact I only played on casual, the game didn't finish too quickly. Probably the best part was that the deductive logic worked so well. When you work out what to do, it makes sense. It's so good to know it can be done, instead of coming up with your own logic and it not matching with the developers' idea of logic... Hidden object...
