Absolutely recommended, especially if your idea of fun is spending an hour rearranging a perfectly functional machine because it could be smaller, faster, or simply prettier to watch. I've loved this concept since The Codex of Alchemical Engineering, and Opus Magnum develops it beautifully. One of the most unexpectedly awesome games I've ever played. I'm playing this and Kaizen currently and now this genre is in my top favorites. When you get to use your creativity to come up with a solution, it creates the most satisfying progression. Especially to go back and improve your designs later after you've gotten better
