I played this game a few years ago and really enjoyed it. If you're familiar with the Genesis-era of Sonic games, you'll surely enjoy Spark the Electric Jester
FYI for anyone who has problems with (or those who reviewed about) the game crashing on pausing, it seems that it's related to software that can capture the screen (I.E. Discord, OBS, etc.). TURN THOSE OFF BEFORE YOU BOOT UP THE GAME. I don't know if it's safe to start them up after, but it's not unplayable. Another note for some people who said you can't turn off the double-tap to dash, you can. It is literally an...
nice sonic-like game and runs on weaker pcs like mine so I enjoyed it and especially fills the itch for a fast paced 2D platformer since sonic mania plus
