Honestly one of the best classic Sonic games with remixed levels and old scrapped levels making a return with a ton of replay possibility with time attacking, different character runs, competition with friends, and with DLC mighty and ray plus a remix of the base campaign with a fun gimmick onto it! When this released, there had not been a single 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game for over 20 years. When Sonic turned 25, we were given a game that rivals the likes of Sonic 2 & 3. I cannot understate how good this game is from the music, the levels, and the creativity. Everything you loved about the classics? It's here and better than ever. Actual 9/10 game.. The real Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The only real complaint I have is that most of the level aesthetics are recycled from older games, which Sonic the Hedgehog has been guilty of doing for... a while now. But hey look! Ray and Mighty are finally back!
