What players say
I really wanted to like this game because Fallout is one of my favorite franchises. I bought it understanding it needed a cocktail of mods to be considered playable. I spent a whole day learning, configuring, and testing a community favorite modpack, but even then, the controls, movement, and UI was just too frustrating to be fun.
The game is just a complete mess. Terrible controls but that I could get use to. Its the blurry and wavy-when-moving graphics, the keyboard not popping up when you need it to progress past the "name your character" stage, and the constant crashes that really make it such a pathetic game. Triple A developers made this? Bargain bin devs more like.
obviously, base Fo4VR is a steaming godaweful pile of crap, we've all heard those reviews. we've also all heard how fun the mods can be, and yeah, thats true too. for me personally, i've never had any actual problems with the game, of course a couple crashes but thats just fallout 4, not fo4vr. ive never had it give me launching troubles, loading, none of it. with mods, and alright game, almost worth it if you can...
