Dated graphics and controls aside this is pretty solid for a 24 year old game. I think I would have loved this game if I had found it as a kid but I was too busy playing with army men in real life and and having no idea this game existed. At 75% off it was less than $2 so though I probably won't ever play this again I have zero buyers remorse.

This game takes me back to the GAMECUBE era when nintendo was peak. Still as fun as I remember and it works perfectly fine on windows 11 if you go and download the compatibility patch that is mentioned throughout the community/reviews columns.
bro I have no idea what I'm doing I'm out here commanding tiny plastic soldiers across a kitchen table like it's the Normandy landings and my toaster PC is already crying. The game runs at like 18 fps of pure childhood nostalgia while the fans sound like they're about to take off. I'm a nerd. I read the tooltips. I still accidentally delete my own base.
