Let me drop my review for the first game, as it is all still relevant here: "This is a fighting game classic that I never got to play, but always wanted to. Now I have and I was pretty happy with it. While it's not my favorite SNK fighting franchise, it does carry the quality of the others, and had I had as much time playing this one in the past, it might have ranked as high for me as Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting...
A very fun focused fighting game. Plenty of difficulty modes and it was fun to learn each character while playing. Decent music and the stage interludes come dripping in style. Having a games character only available through menu information (Kouryu) is a bit fun as well. Ends up feeling less like a cheat or something and truly intended for the full experience.
