the pc port quite sucks but hey atleast you can use the modloader requiring the old 2004 version it's really great when you try it with the dreamcast conversion mod

There seems to be a wave of revisionism surrounding this game in the past few years which I think is namely for two reasons: 1) the Sonic series is home to so many unforgivably awful games that they make this game seem better by comparison, especially since said games (06, Boom, Forces) released after this one; and 2) this release is the last in line of ports that have iteratively broken many aspects of this game...

About the game
An ancient evil lurking within the Master Emerald has been unleashed from its slumber by the devious Dr. Eggman and is on the verge of becoming the ultimate monster using the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Only Sonic and his friends are heroic enough to put a stop to Dr. Eggman and his evil minions.
