What players say
This game is my childhood. I would play it on my gamecube and play chao garden all the way up to getting the Chaos Chao's. I would blare the music whenever my brothers friends would come over because I literally thought that the music needed to be heard and remembered, that final boss while Live and Learn plays is so good. This game rocks and sonic fans should definitely play it.

Easily the best speed stages in the franchise, metal harbor is a highlight. Treasure hunting stages were fun, but some of the stages (mad space specifically) were too hard to really enjoy. The mech shooting stages were pretty decent, not a huge fan of them but they were still enjoyable. The games story holds up great. Obviously some of the animations kinda suck, but the game did originally release 25 years ago, so...
Before i start this review, i want to state that the game itself isnt bad. Its all good fun but this is the WORST possible way to experience it. Dont get me wrong, sonic adventure 2 is a great game. sure, the fact that you have to play the mech and treasure hunting playstyles a lot is annoying but its still a good game.
