Shadow is a character who is so edgelord and cringe that he wraps all the way back around to being extremely cool. I like when he does the thing where he clenches his hand and looks at it. This game rules. Also Rouge is in it.
So you have an ok game and the second coming in one single package. Sonic Generations This is just a port with few cutscene changes... sadly. I guess it's alright, story is light hearted and just kind of there with not much dialogue. Classic Sonic is where the fun is at, his stages might seem a bit dull and "boring" compared to Modern but ATLEAST it plays well, drop dash is niche poo poo here tho nowhere near...
Is this the same Sonic Team? It feels like it was made by a completely different studio. Holy, what an improvement! This has to be one of the most polished, well controlled Sonic games to date. They definitely unlocked the formula with this one (I'm of course referring to the Shadow part), but man, the graphics, the level design, the controls, the animations, everything is top tier. An absolute 10/10
