This game is on life support. It's held up by skin revenue, the dying professional scene, and a community of old/new players that has little hope of Valve doing something. I can see its bad when the previous seasons top 0.1% of the playerbase can't break into gold, or even red ranks in the latest season. It feels like valve is not even trying anymore. 3rd party site can easily detect the trust factor of a player without internal data... and valve fails to isolate cheaters from legit people. Valve just dont care.
