The value story
It has never been cheaper than $8.99. That was December 2024. 48 discounts in the 8 years on record. They run about 25 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart.
On value it sits in the top 6 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 77 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 85 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Forager ($19.99, scores 72) beats it on value, while it beats Planet Explorers (free, scores 10).
This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 7 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written July 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 67 percent of the 260 reviews written there were positive, against 84 percent overall, and those are 7 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
Constant terrain desync in multiplayer. Even the host was missing terrain that I would travel to.
Interesting concept but needs some work. poor UI, too much slow walking everywhere. just gets really grindy quickly.
Interesting little game with some fun mechanics. I liked the exploration and tech discovery. Game loop became stale relatively quickly, worth it if its on sale.
Steam reviews, mixed to match its Steam ratio and rotated daily. Opinions are theirs.
