The value story
December 2021 is where it bottomed out, at $1.69. It has been discounted 78 times in the 8 years tracked here, typically at 90 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.
It is pricier than 85 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 97 percent. PLAYNE : The Meditation Game ($14.99, scores 60) outscores it, and so does Barn Finders ($19.99, scores 51). Both sit among its closest neighbours.
Of the 597 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 7 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 40 percent of the 392 reviews written there were positive, against 54 percent overall, and those are 36 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
It's bad, guys. Baaaad. The trailers and screenshots make it look like a really engaging experience that actually simulates trash-hunting, but it's realistically more of a gacha machine with ONE SINGLE game mechanic. Yes, you can move around and look. Aside from this, the only thing to do in the game is to pixelhunt for the correct spot to dig in. Once you've started digging, you click a few times, and then the game...
You spend your time travelling all around the globe and unearthing the same exact artefacts in every place. The dev put as much effort into this game as you would in doing chores around the house.
tl;dr: It's fine but nothing special. If there was a *shrug* rating, I'd give it that. Instead I flipped a coin and gave it a plus. The gameplay got very tedious too quickly for me to recommend too much. Go to area, use a metal detector to find a thing, break out the shovel, dig it up and spray it clean. Rinse and repeat. The objects you find are not memorable and blur together. Used only as a way to make more money...
