The year is 3015. The battlefields are dominated by war machines known as BattleMechs. Level entire cities and decimate the enemy in your BattleMech. Follow a quest for glory and revenge. Manage an expanding mercenary company. Fight alongside your friends with a four-player PvE co-op.

Had a lot of fun playing MechWarrior 5 played through both the campaign and career option. I really had fun playing through it especially with all the dlc which adds a ton of extra story based missions improving the game immensely. The main story isn't anything to rave on about, it's kinda on the side of this game anyways. The mech fighting is pretty fun, there is a variety of weaponary and mech's making each...
If you download YAML and various other mods, as well as purchase DLC's, this can be the game it should've been on release. You will have to be careful and go through the typical modding woes, but it is worth it. The game is incredibly fun once kitted out properly, but is still rough around the edges. The first flaw you are going to notice if you are playing multiplayer is that the compass does not have bearing indicators. Forget coordinated teamwork without mods. This game doesn't have it. Also, the host is the only one who will benefit from the story. Your other players will not. You have to stream your game somewhere so your lancemates will know what is going on. They also cannot purchase their own equipment...
