What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
- How long it takes to beat isn't in our data. We scored it as a typical Strategy game (about 8 hours) and docked the score for the missing length.
The value story
September 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $7.99. Its cuts run 20 percent off as a rule. There have been 3 in the 9 years tracked, about 65 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 5 percent on value. It is pricier than 67 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Descenders ($6.24, scores 83) beats it on value, while it beats BMX Streets ($24.99, scores 36).
20 of the 543 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,725 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 422 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 55 percent of the 531 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 10 percent of everything written about it.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, so it runs on the handheld without fiddling.
