Solving puzzles with friends can swing wildly between brilliant teamwork and full on hatred towards one another. It captures the spirit of real escape rooms well enough, there's genuine satisfaction in getting each code before you realise that was only the starting one and you're almost out of time already. It is janky and dated but okay enough for an escape room game.
