The value story
The lowest price on record is $4.07, set in June 2023. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 36 in the 4 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 50 percent on value. It is pricier than 69 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 64 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Realm of the Mad God Exalt (free, scores 60) beats it on value, while it beats Blightbound ($19.99, scores 12).
8 of the 468 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written June 2022 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 61 percent of the 127 reviews written there were positive, against 86 percent overall, and those are 10 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
Really great old school MMO/ARPG. The game is in desperate need of players and end game content though, I feel like there should be some kind of end game raid system that requires groups, it would give more purpose to clans and something to do for players who are level 90+. If you like games like WoW, Diablo, and Everquest this game feels like a solid balance between the three except instead of questing you just run...
Really good. Uses EQ sounds which is very nostalgic. Very good roguelite with deep character building and plenty of race/class combos to keep you busy.
Its not a bad game at all/....There just isnt anyone around...First time I logged in there were 8 players but none anywhere near my level...Second time there were 0 players....It's just too much to entice me to play long term....I would recommend to the dev creating a mercenary system so each player would at least have a helper since there are so few players.
