What players say
I enjoy the open world and crafting elements of the game. The learning curve isn't too steep in terms of figuring out what items are needed to craft different tools, constructions, etc. I bought a couple copies when it was on sale and have been having fun playing with my kids in multiplayer mode.

Overall, I liked the light survival-craft progression system in Tribes of Midgard. I really liked the ARPG combat across the different ways to play and skills. But, I didn't care much for the build system. Tribes of Midgard has a serviceable story for the scope of the game, nice convenient and low-barrier progression system that can be moved through pretty quickly, and a decent variety of gameplay feel across...
This game did a pretty good job fooling us. It was really fun when we started playing it, the combat felt a little awkward to control but the rest of the game was good enough to outshine that kind of blemish. It should be a good game, it has a lot of the right elements there, but it only takes a few hours into playing for it to be clear the devs despise you and want you to be miserable. We're talking about HP sponge...
