Personally my favorite game in the whole franchise. I feel it's a lot more loreful than the first game but that comes with a lot of frustrating gimmicks and deaths if that frustrates you. You WILL die a lot, but the monsters are scarier than before, the new (and old!) characters receive a lot more depth, and I feel like this is honestly the face of the LN franchise nowadays even more than Six's iconic yellow...
Edit: Alright. Changing the review to positive. It really is a great game, but some game-breaking bugs killed it for me. Now it seems that all the bugs I've encountered are related to the enhanced edition only. So my very strong advice: Do NOT play the enhanced edition!
