Take this thumbs down with a grain of salt, I'm not a big classic 3D platformer enjoyer I guess. On paper this should be great for me. Constant collecting, exploration, secrets, a skill tree, different locations. The amount of content is hard to even fathom, I only cleared a few areas and it's been hours. Plus I even missed most of the hidden stuff (which doesn't really help, I don't wish to revisit the levels...
Meh game. Grappling feels fun but that's about it. Stupid humor, burp fart poop and vomit, real high brow stuff. Crappy gimmicky bosses that are just annoying, especially when they use forced perspectives that make movement annoying and wonky (oh my hit didn't register against the fly because of forced perspective? oh the fly knocked me off the platform into the acid? oh you cant get out of the acid? dead). Boring...
A had a lot of fun with this game. It's a very solid platformer with interesting and fun mechanics. The humor is a bit underwhelming and juvenile but overal I really enjoyed myself.
