What players say
While there are some annoying flaws and minor bugs, I can say that time and time again I underestimate the depth this game has, and then the amount of joy it can provide. AIs are stupid cheating bastards, but if you accept the fact, and try higher difficulties on those terms, every game system starts to come into play and it all interconnects into a tense experience where every decision shapes the victory or wrecks...

This game is so goated, truly stands the test of time. My real playtime is actually doubled because I played the pirated version when I was a kid. The first strategy game I got into. So goated...
My own experience has been that once every three months or so the game crashes (typically after turn 400). I assume that it's because the game is no longer being upgraded but the computer operating systems are, creating conflicts.
