What drives the score

How to read this

Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work

About the game

Deck Hunter is a roguelike card game. The World of Klanojh has been cursed by Glatta, the Goddess of Anger. Build your deck, make combos, defeat fantasy creatures and help Avery to face the evil and restore the balance!
Description from the Steam store page.
Minimum specs

Minimum on the Steam store: 4 GB of memory, 512 Mb Video Memory, 399 MB of storage. Windows only.

The value story

43 discounts in the 7 years on record, a median of 50 percent off across all of them, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.

It is cheaper than 93 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 86 percent. Deck of Ashes ($19.99, scores 28) outscores it, and so does Overdungeon ($7.49, scores 51). Both sit among its closest neighbours.

The drop-off

97% start to <1% rarest
050100rarestfirst achievement

No achievement in this game marks the ending, so there is no finish rate. The curve runs from the most-unlocked achievement to the rarest, and its shape is where players stop. Steam global achievements

What players say

I find some bugs, contacted the dev on email. He replied really fast, informing me he is working on refactor and was really nice and helpful

5 years in, near silence from the solo dev. Looks like abandonware, better deck builders have come and gone.
