The value story
It has never been cheaper than $2.99. That was August 2026. 45 discounts in the 5 years on record. They run about 70 percent off, roughly 5 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 48 percent on value. It is pricier than 96 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 64 percent. Among the games that feel like it, BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut ($14.99, scores 41) beats it on value, while it beats Agony ($14.99, scores 1).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 13 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 6.1-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 799 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 35 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written June 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 414 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 35 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 58 percent of the 1,433 reviews written there were positive, against 76 percent overall, and those are 29 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 6.1 hours; clearing it takes 16, which is 2.6 times the campaign.

What players say
I had this game, its defiantly not like the original demo- so much so that I had to get a refund- All this game seemed to be was an arena fighting game with no real End game goal with a semi nude demon. Thats it, thats all
I didn't trust the mixed reviews and the negative ones made by others and bought the game. They were right. The combat was really good, so I naively played more. The game is just awful. The mechanics are janky, tedious, and overall annoying. The puzzles are poorly designed and leave you scratching your head; not in the "Oh I actually had to use my brain" way, but in the "What sub-room temperature IQ individual...
fun game with a strange setting and love the all out gore and full head to toe customization fire
