What players say
its been actual years since I've played this last but of what I can remember the plot kept steady paced for the most part but the ending felt kind of cop out-y and disappointed me. Beyond that there's no NG+ which I personally felt this game could have really benefited from even if its just as a novelty.

I have played both Lost Sphear and I am Satsuna and both I feel had more world building than this game. The characters come in and then are gone to fast to be invested in them in this game. The story really does not get going until the second half ... its really slow build up. Unfortunately, overall I would not recommend this... THE GOOD: I liked the dark take on JRPG... good use of demon fighter transition system...
Oninaki, developed by Tokyo RPG Factory and published by Square Enix, is a contemplative action RPG that dives deeply into themes of life, death, and the cycles that connect them. Players follow the story of Kagachi, a young Watcher whose duty is to guide wandering souls to their next reincarnation. The narrative explores heavy emotional and philosophical themes, balancing moments of intimate character development...
