What players say
This is the best medieval city builder I have played and that genre is my favorite. It's challenging and addicting with a good balance of building and combat. I have over 200 hours into multiple cities and, when I am done, I want more. I am hoping that they continue to make the game more complex and add more to the late stage. I want enemy cities to attack and more complex battles. Add more crop and animal types...

Haven't played anything exactly like this before : A city builder / RTS with little external influence. Comparing it to other games I liked that are closest to this (Anno 1800, frostpunk 1/2), The good : Has good depth in production, and isn't grid bound in it's building (like anno or frostpunk), so I could design 1:1 towns of real life if I found a good spot :D. The food system is quite deep, with 3 year crop...
Just another run-of-the-mill city builder. No original ideas, no decent balancing, released prematurely as version 1.0 in an unfinished state, and completely lacking technical optimization. It does, however, come with bugs, some of which can ruin your save file (after about three hours, hundreds of raider camps suddenly spawned everywhere upon loading a save, dropping the frame rate to 4-5 FPS; an hour later, saving...

About the game
Protect and guide your people as you forge a town from untamed wilderness at the edge of the known world. Harvest raw materials, hunt, fish and farm to survive. Produce crafted items to trade, consume, equip and fight with as you battle for your survival against the elements and outside threats.
