What players say
There's something undeniably charming about watching these Lovecraftian monsters beat each other up like they're characters in a comic book. In terms of story and world design the game is still pretty basic, but the battles themselves can get pretty intense if you don't know what you're doing. I'd definitely recommend playing Breath of Death VII first to get a feel for the combat mechanics before diving into this...

Saving the world in order to destroy it that's one of the most original and interesting plot setups I've ever seen.
Bought this game way back when Totalbiscuit(Rest in Peace) did his series of 'WTF is' when this showed up. Loved it when I played it back then with the interesting humor and dialogue. However attempting to play this game was an absolute annoyance as the character sprite moved too fast to get into one block entry ways, NPCs or even the towns themselves. This was the annoyance point where I stopped playing after...

About the game
The lord of insanity, Cthulhu was all set to plunge the world into insanity and destruction when his powers were sealed by a mysterious sorcerer. The only way for him to break the curse is to become a true hero. Save the world to destroy it in an epic parody RPG journey of redemption, romance, and insanity!
