Set out on a grand adventure in this turn-based, retro style, pixel-art RPG, inspired by the great titles of the 90's. Take on the roles of in-game players taking on the roles of their characters in a traditional pen and paper RPG session in the ultimate meta roleplaying experience.

I played this and dropped it many years ago not long after it was released. I revisited it more recently around end of 2025 and pushed through the game. If I were to evaluate this game from the perspective of someone playing in 2013 then I would probably give it a better review and score than what it has received from me. Fact of the matter is I played this game well over 10 years after release and need to evaluate...
This game does not hold up well. And it's SO grindy. Thought the paid version would be better balanced, but it still feels like a mobile game.
Knights of Pen and Paper is a DnD inspired turn based rpg that leans into a grind heavy experience.
