What players say
Knights of Pen & Paper +1 is a fun and charming little RPG with plenty of good jokes and a nice tabletop vibe. The combat and character building are simple, but enjoyable if you like this kind of game. That said, it gets very grindy, especially if you're going for 100%. The final dungeon achievement is particularly ridiculous - clearing 50 dungeons eventually just means running the same easy dungeon over and over...

Some of the achievements are buggy, and you may find the launch option of, "./knightspp.x86_64" %command% to be helpful (include the quotation marks). There's also some grind, but it's reasonable so far to me. However, this is a fun game that's a love-letter to nerdom. Although it's rather simple thus far, it certainly isn't bad, and some times more can be less. At the price I bought it, I have zer0 regrets.
used to play this game on phone when i was in high school, bought it on pc after the mobile version was unlisted for some reason it doesnt hold up well after all these years. i never realized how grindy the game is, the quests also suck because most of them are "go there, come back, also you'll get forced encounters along the way". having to reopen the map after the forced battles got tiring. additionally, having to...

About the game
Set out on a grand adventure in this turn-based, retro style, pixel-art RPG, inspired by the great titles of the 90's. Take on the roles of in-game players taking on the roles of their characters in a traditional pen and paper RPG session in the ultimate meta roleplaying experience.
