The game was good, but Sega/Creative Assembly have utterly ruined the series. Recently they made changes to make it 'more difficult' so they used ai for the how the other factions react. Now, if you start a war on 1 border, you are guaranteed to have another faction attack your furthest away border. Seems to happen every time, where there are not direct factions that oppose you, they spawn in a rogue faction or have...

Got the game because I saw dwarves, skaven, the empire and greenskins and thought they looked fun. Turns out they are all dlc locked and for $60 the best a AAA studio can do is dollar store russians and demonic sex offenders and if you want any of the actually enjoyable content of the game you already paid for you're going to have to pay a lot more for dlc to get what was advertised. Thank goodness for steam's...
Don't start on easy with the recommended faction. Start on the hardest difficulty, but maintain the ability to save and load. Slam your head directly into the brick wall. Figuring out a new game with your favourite faction is precious. Make it count by challenging yourself. Try everything.
