I was incredibly excited when this game was first announced after my time in CK2, so I pre-ordered it without hesitation. But it released feeling incomplete and half-baked. We were fed the classic "it will get deeper with DLCs" excuse, but instead of adding actual depth, every new expansion just turns the game into a tedious chore. CK3 is an amazing game but i cannot recommend it to anyone because of Paradox charging DLC pricing. The game has been chopped out to squeeze as much money from players without actually providing a reasonable expectation of how much a game should cost nowadays. If you purchase CK and continue to pay for their DLC which costs over $324 of my currency, then you are encouraging Paradox to continuing nickle and dime-ing...
