The value story

November 2024 is where it bottomed out, at $19.79. It has been discounted 24 times in the 6 years tracked here, typically at 60 percent off, with about 13 weeks between sales.

It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre. On the same math Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth ($69.99, scores 67) and Monster Sanctuary ($19.99, scores 85) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

This site sampled 686 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 17 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written July 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 3,162 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 402 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 42 percent of the 265 reviews written there were positive, against 74 percent overall, and those are 17 percent of everything written about it.

I wish there was some sort of way to give a neutral review because this game has both positives and negatives. The positives are that the game has good 'bones'. The guild hall upgrade system and working your way up to becoming the #1 guild feel great to interact with. You are constantly getting upgrades and feeling stronger. It also has some great small interactions between cast members and you can tell some of the...

The first impression I had is that it was a very simple and braindead JRPG, aimed at teenagers. I'm glad I kept playing. Damn, even the epilogue is epic, with loads of post game content! To be honest, I expected a Musou game, but finding a JRPG was a nice surprise. I didn't read the manga or watched the anime previously, so I didn't know anything about the story. Man, what a ride, I had a very good time playing...
