What players say
Burnout Paradise is an easy recommendation. As someone who doesn't play many racing games, this was perfect. It's racing but with no rules, you can, and should, smash your competitors constantly. You don't need to understand loads about cars, but it's still challenging, in the right way. You're in an open world, which is wonderfully designed, and you complete events to unlock more cars to progress. There's no story...

The Remastered version of Burnout Paradise is overall a great experience, but it has some pros and cons compared to the original version in my opnion: (Keep in mind that I haven't fully completed the Remastered version, nor have I tried the online): Pros: - The obvious: the added island is jam-packed with areas to discover and things to do, and the new truggy released with this addition fits the demands of that...
I loved the original game, and I bought the remaster in hopes for some modern adjustments (higher resolutions, active online features, etc.) But it turns out to be a waste of money, since the game would randomly crash at any point. Even though there are some patches and updates recently, it doesn't seem to fix the crashing issue.
