This game is great. I highly recommend it for those looking for a game in the business management/logistics genre, but the Steam version is vaporware. I used to play the Steam version of this game on Windows 8 and it took technical workarounds that went beyond checking a few boxes in the windows "compatibility settings" menu. At some point the game just stopped working. The Steam version has never worked on Windows...

i started the game with high expectation, because many veteran reviewers commented favorlably. I'm a senior old gamer, so retro graphic is ok, merchant part is repetive? it's no problem.Rather, it's fun. Buy low and sell high and build facilities to produce goods...all fun. But one thing i can't put up with...WHY MUST I FIGHT ENEMY FLEET WITH ONLY ONE SHIP? i can build a fleet up to ten ships. But when battle...
Love this game, you can build your wealth by working for one of the different nations or as a pirate.
