There is an issue with this game that causes it to only use 2 of the CPU cores. In my case, I'll have 2 cores maxed and 6 idle by midgame. At midgame the game lags so hard the framerate drops to 10fps. looking at the forums, it seems the game is abandoned. I really like this game and its a shame, the Dev's have a great concept and did a good job executing. At this point in time I can't recommend this game. FYI I...
Good concept, buggy as crap. Once you get to about half the map the game lags out to the point it's unplayable. What I've noticed: 1. Soldiers don't train 2. Economy seems slightly broken due to price of wood (i.e. unless you are familiar with how economics work, and you are prepared to tweak it, this game is going to be impossible for most players) 3. Random crashes due to the Unity engine (this isn't the devs...
Really engaging and surprisingly complex game. I've got over 300 hours in it, so it's probably only fair I review it. I will say that things are complicated enough that there's a bit of a learning curve when you start, but I greatly enjoy how streamlined I can make everything go once I've got my ideal peasant house tile count down. The names are also fantastic. Got some great entertainment out of certain ones...
