What players say
This game requires patience. It is a great game. Excellent strategy/city builder type but it will infuriate you. I recommend playing in the valleys without natural disasters until you figure out the game a bit more. It's an oldie but a goldie. I only wish there was a x50 speed not just up to x10, as once you know what to do to survive, it's a bit of a waiting game.

I love playing with the mods. It's a great community. Solid game, worth the investment and time!
+ Early and mid game very engaging, mismanagement is punished + Art style is pleasant + Challenges (Uneducated, One With Nature, Isolationist etc) make the game replayable - Late game is weak without disasters and even then isn't great - Late game performance is poor as noted by many 8/10

In this city-building strategy game, you control a group of exiled travelers who decide to restart their lives in a new land. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland. The townspeople of Banished are your primary resource.
