The value story
September 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $5.99. It has been discounted 31 times in the 5 years tracked here, typically at 50 percent off, with about 8 weeks between sales.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 25 percent on value. It is pricier than 60 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 73 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Full Metal Furies ($19.99, scores 73) beats it on value, while it beats Hero Siege ($7.99, scores 19).
Of the 524 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 1 comes from a buyer who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written December 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 84 percent of the 129 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 6 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 9.7 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
Incredibly unbalanced. There is no joy in playing hard mode whatsoever. There is no invincibility window after being hit allowing you to die faster than you can even react when the screen is filled with projectiles. Having a limited number of dodges makes this even more annoying. Enemies do too much damage and/or player does not have enough health/defense. Using a health flask takes way too long since you always...
Poorly balanced in terms of damage numbers to and from the player, i-frames, and gameplay that felt more frustrating than difficult (especially with constantly getting stuck on walls going a pixel or two in or out). A game that could be really good if it were balanced better.
