My first PC game I ever played was Battlefield 1942. This game feels JUST like that, bringing me back some nostalgia with a bit of a better paint job. All of the functions of gameplay work fantastically in SP. I have had most of my fun in SP vs MP. Amazing WW2 shooter with a mix of milsim like and casual gaming. A real gem with how much content the game has for the asked price and with such a small team. Many big WW2 shooter and even other shooter can't even compete with the amount of wepoens maps and location it offers. It's also very historicly accurate with the diffrent factions to play as. The DLCs arent expensive and the performance is exceptable.
It's peak, just wish that third person controls for infantry weren't so clunky and awkward to use. That and going into third person can actually make some weapons reload faster compared to first person by like, a lot. Do with that what you will.
