What players say
This game is great. It's like Fable and Dragons Dogma bumped uglies and it birthed a hella wholesome band of adventurers. I had a blast :D
A mixed of Monster Hunter, Breath of the Wild, and Shadow of he Colossus. I'll start by saying the beginning of the story was so boring to me that I just skipped all dialogue. The story is told in very few cutscenes, about 4 2D animations scene, and a lot of VN style dialogue. There are dialogue choices, but they're just flavor and don't do anything. The beginning is kind of boring and give you your main magic...
I enjoyed the story, combat, and being able to use magic to make map traversal more exciting. The only downside is having to grind resources, but otherwise a overall enjoyable game.
