What players say
There's been a lot of discourse in the adventure game community the last couple of years about how modern point and clicks have become too streamlined: too few and easy puzzles, with an over-reliance on story over gameplay. Therefore it's interesting playing Lucy Dreaming, a modern P&C that is streamlined in a lot of ways, but keeps itself unashamedly in the old school, for better and worse... First of all, the game...

I'm 47 years old. I played Monkey Island when it was first released in the early 1990s - and was a huge fan of all the sequels. This game - Lucy Dreaming - was made for me. It's a point-and-click adventure, VERY strongly influenced by Monkey Island, with numerous references to the classic game. If you like MI, you'll love Lucy Dreaming :)
A fun game with great humour, a few tricky puzzles but nothing to spoil the experience, great nostalgic references to Monkey Island with voice acting from Guybrush himself!
