The value story
September 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $5.99. 35 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 67 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 22 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 86 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 61 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Verdun ($19.99, scores 69) beats it on value, while it beats Tannenberg ($19.99, scores 63).
Critics scored it 73. Players sit 10 points higher at 83 percent, which usually means a game that plays better than it reviews.
Players rate it 83 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 75 percent. Something recent has soured the room. 20 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written December 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 55 percent of the 1,641 reviews written there were positive, against 83 percent overall, and those are 11 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
very fun and realistic take on ww1, much better than bf1, i'd say, and the best part is that the rifles actually do damage unlike most arcade shooters.
My honest review of Isonzo is that it's a great game for historical adaptation and satisfying combat, but it has an abusive price and few truly active online servers. Fortunately, the game has an Offline option that allows you to play and earn achievements and experience with friends and bots. The game offers realistic combat, of the type: "You are fragile and your enemies are too." Anyway, the game is only worth it...
welcome to 2026 .. after 100 hours I can guarantee you now that the other cash grab that should have been additional content to the existing game now for sale full prince has taken the entire anti cheat team with it. like hackers ? this is the game for you. just another good game with potential left to the cheaters wasteland.
